We are delighted to announce that we have rearranged the Annual Dinner of the Association of Average Adjusters and it will now be held on 1 October 2020 at The Savoy Hotel, London.  We also intend to hold the Annual Conference and Reception during the same morning in London, venue to be confirmed in due course.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Association of Average Adjusters of the United States and Canada who have kindly agreed to move their Annual Dinner from the traditional first Thursday of October to 15 October 2020, to allow us to celebrate our 150 years during 2020.  The Chairman and Committee of Management are most appreciative.

It is hoped that as many of our members as possible will be able to join us in celebrating this special occasion on 1 October.

As mentioned in a previous email, Members with an annual subscription for 2019/20 which includes dinner will be able to carry this forward to 1 October.  Any Member who has recently purchased a dinner ticket or guest ticket can either carry this forward to the new date or receive a refund. Please let the Association know by 1 July 2020 whether you prefer a refund. If we do not hear from you before this date, we will assume that you have elected to carry the ticket forward to the new dinner date and we very much look forward seeing you there.

The Annual Dinner celebrating 150 years of the Association will be held at The Savoy Hotel, 1800 to be seated for dinner at 1900.  Dress: black tie / cocktail dresses

Members should apply for tickets online by logging into their account and purchasing via the portal.  If you have any problems please contact the Secretariat

Members and guests will of course be aware of the on-going Coronavirus issues and the implications that may have on travel plans.  There is currently no UK government advice that may preclude the dinner being held in October, but we recommend our overseas members and guests check the UK Government’s Department of Health and Social Care website regularly for their travel plans, which can be viewed via this link
